Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Japan for a two-day official visit, focusing on the 15th India-Japan Annual Summit with Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba. This trip marks a significant chapter in advancing the longstanding partnership between the two countries.

Japanese companies have invested over $40 billion in India, and over 80% plan to increase their investments soon.

PM Modi and his counterpart will also explore new opportunities in science, strategic affairs, and emerging civilizational bonds.
Several agreements and Memoranda of Understanding are expected to be signed, covering trade, economic, and security collaborations. PM Modi emphasized Japan’s important role in India’s development, underscoring the mutual trust that defines their relationship.
